Bushfire Recovery - Thank you!
We wanted to pass on this thank you message from WIRES to all our lovely customers whose orders allowed us to donate to the bushfire recovery programme. Last week they shared an amazing video with us to say thanks and to give a glimpse into the vital work they have been doing (it's quite hard hitting in a few places, so not really a watch for littlies).
Sat in the studio, it seems like only yesterday that the droughts had sucked all the moisture from the land and those crazy fires were burning out of control across Aussie, but here we are at the start of another fire season 😳 It's been incredible to watch the new green shoots spring up from even the most burnt through areas of bush; the trees coming back to life with funny tufts of leaves around their trunks, as though joining in with their own lockdown haircuts 🤣
We will be continuing to support this fabulous organisation, and really REALLY recommend watching the video - it's a bit of a tear jerker, and the numbers of lost animals is truly heartbreaking, but with these lovely people helping, and spring arriving in a few days time here in Aussie, life goes on. Thank you! x
